The groin area is protected with a temperature-regulating, soft compression fabric, whereas the nano ventilation holes along the sides maintain optimum airflow. Add to that, the premium fabrics are quick-drying, breathable and ultra-stretchy, providing total freedom of movement. The waistband is wide, comfortable and equipped with ventilation strips. The Velcro hook & loop lets you fasten your socks and then forget about them, so you can direct your full attention to the game. The fit is designed to follow your every move on the ice.

Great compression

They are great, love the compression and the overall quality. They are very comfortable and I use it mostly for off ice and running.

Great shorts

This is undoubtedly the best pair of shorts available in the market. I highly recommend it.

Great fit and feel. Hanging cup pocket is a great feature and keeps a secure fit while skating. Excellent base layer

Not bad, but could be better

Bought this with the sole intent of switching from another brand. The spandex is great - comfortable and well fitting. However, across the groin where the hard cup is going it is too tight. I found when skating my cup moves and then does not provide the proper protection in a very important area. I’ve gone back to my other can due to this. I think subtle improvements to have more of a pocket for the cup to account for general movement would be better.

Thank you for your review and valuable feedback! We’ve recently upgraded the cup protector pocket on all our Lock Pants. The new design now includes elastic straps that keep the cup securely in place for improved fit and comfort.

Good product with design flaw

The materials for this product and fit were excellent. However the cup pocket is too high in the short and leaves the lower portion of what it’s supposed to be protecting exposed. This needs a redesign.
